Do I need a computer or DVR to use EqueSafe?

No, the camera and server are the computer and DVR in one.  You will only need a computer or cell phone to view the camera.

Do I need a broadband Internet connection?

Yes, any ISP will work. For example cable, DSL, cellular, wimax, or satellite.

How many cameras can I have set up to my account?

There is no limit to the number of locations or number of cameras per location.

If I live in Florida, will I be able to view my cameras from California?

Absolutely, as long as you have an Internet connected device you can log in to view your cameras.

Can I unplug the camera and move it to another location?

Yes, our cameras are mini computers.  They can be moved around the world and connect to our servers.   The only thing you need is a power supply.

Do you have cameras that can be installed outside or cameras that have pan tilt and zoom?

Absolutely, view or full line of camera products here.

How secure is my connection?

Very, your camera sends out an encrypted code that can only be deciphered by our servers and can only be accessed by your password-protected account.

Do I need to configure my router?

No our cameras are mini computers with their own software they negotiate with the router on their own and push the video up into our servers.

Can I use a wireless router?

Absolutely, but you would want to use one of our wireless cameras.   The cameras wireless settings have to be configured.  As added security, the camera will only connect to a wireless network if you tell it what the networks name and password are.   You can do this by connecting the camera directly to the router with a network cable, once online you can only manage the settings from within your password-protected account.  Once the cameras have permission to connect it will always connect to that network unless you change the settings.

Can I use a 3g/4g cellular router?

Yes, this is one of the most amazing things you can do.  You can use a wireless or wired router and the camera will send video up to our servers.   Of course like all ISP’s there will be a monthly fee.

Are these cameras as easy to use as you say?

Yes

Can I get alerts sent to my cell phone if there is motion on my cameras?

Yes

Can I save clips from my account to my computer?

Yes you can save them.

Can I get 24 hour per day /7 days a week recording?

I already have an analog camera installed at my business can I still use your service?

Absolutely using our analog converters we can convert the analog signal to a digital signal and stream the video up to our servers.

How to Install

  1. Plug  your camera in and connect it to your router using a network cable.

  1. Log into your account at EqueSafe.net

  1. If necessary configure your wireless settings.

  1. Begin viewing your camera anytime anywhere you have an Internet connection.
