AXIS M1011-W

EquiSafe uses proven technology that has evolved from the first methods of recording video. There have been many phases of this evolution from the days when video was stored on tape and reels to VHS and Beta tapes, then onto DVDs. Now, there are large amounts of digital storage available on DVRs and home computers but to configure them you need to have port forwarding, static IPs, software downloads and a DVR set up at every site. global surveillance uses Hosted Video Recording (HVS) where there is no longer a need for hardware to store the recordings of a camera at every site. global surveillance uses the largest network in existence the Internet. Axis Communications invented an IP camera that could push its information out onto the internet to be picked up by global surveillance super-computers (servers) that store the information with time codes and can pass it out live or recorded to any internet connected device in the world.

Each camera that axis makes has its own software similar to a computer that is able to negotiate the whole process without any technological knowledge by the user. IP surveillance cameras simply move the DVR functionality to the camera and global surveillance's HVaaS. There is no software to install because the whole process takes place virtually, the only thing you have to decide is which web browser you want to use to view your cameras from. Without downloading any software you can view your cameras that are scalable and set around the world, from Apples, PCs, and I-phones that are connected to the Internet.
